The Sausalito Hospital is temporarily closed to the public!

The Marine Mammal Center began construction on its new facilities in fall of 2005 and is anticipating the rebuild to be completed in June 2009. Currently there is heavy construction equipment and regular construction activity occurring. Due to issues of safety, the public will temporarily be unable to visit and view the animal patients at the hospital.

The Center staff and volunteers will continue their activities of rescuing and treating patients throughout the rebuild project. To learn about the latest construction updates and about the project, click here.
