The Center's education programs include scheduled school groups and informal education for visitors at PIER 39 in San Francisco (home of the world-famous sea lions), and outreach to schools through our Whale BusTM. Volunteer docents and instructors make it possible to share our understanding of marine mammals and their ocean home with people of all ages. Training for our Education Volunteers take place every year in August. Gain valuable teaching skills, learn about marine mammals, and interact with a diverse audience as you share the stories of our patients. Click here to learn more about the upcoming training.
