Where: The Marine Mammal Center, Marin Headlands

Join us for Marine Science Sunday, which takes place each month on the second and fourth Sunday. This month's program focuses on the amazing animals that live in the Arctic, including walruses, narwhals, hooded seals, bowhead whales, and polar bears.

8th Annual Whalefest Monterey

Where: Old Fisherman’s Wharf, Monterey

Once again The Marine Mammal Center is participating in the annual WhaleFest Monterey at Old Fisherman’s Wharf. The event is a free fun family activity, celebrating the migration of the gray whales along the California coast. Whalefest also benefits local and national marine organizations that help bring awareness through their education outreach on the importance of protecting the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.

Two-Day Symposium at 8th Annual Whalefest Monterey
When: Jan 27 - Jan 28, 2018
Where: Old Fisherman’s Wharf, Monterey

As part of this year's annual Whalefest, there will be a two-day Symposium focusing on the health of our oceans. Join Adam Ratner, Guest Experience Manager at The Marine Mammal Center, for a presentation on "Saving Species in the Monterey Bay." The Symposium will take place over the entire weekend. Adam's presentation will be on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 12:15 pm.
