Expanded our understanding of cetacean ecology, biology and habitat use to establish baseline population information as well as characterize, respond to, and mitigate threats to Identified diseases and pathogens,population health by completing, investigated the reasons marine mammalsleading or participating in 16 whale strand, and determined how these factorssurveys, large whale entanglement are connected to ecosystem and humanresponse trainings, and responses health through performing 287 necropsiesto large whales.and processing 13,460 specimens, such as blood, tissue and fur samples.Fiscal Year 2022 Impact Report | MarineMammalCenter.org'
