Matching Gifts and Workplace Giving

Employer Matching Gifts

You may be able to double, or even triple, the impact of your gift with a match from your employer!

Did you know that many companies offer matching gift opportunities and volunteer grant programs to encourage philanthropy among their employees? Some companies will even match gifts made by spouses and retirees.

When you request a donation match for your gift to The Marine Mammal Center, you will ensure this critical rescue and rehabilitation, research, and education work continues, protecting the health of our ocean, marine mammals and people alike for generations to come.

Use the search tool below to see if your employer can match your donation.

Workplace Giving and Federal Campaigns

Does your company or employer conduct a workplace giving campaign (also called employee charitable fund drive) that allows you to designate The Marine Mammal Center for a one-time gift or payroll deduction?

Workplace giving campaigns are a convenient and economical way to give, allowing donors to spread out payroll deductions over the course of the year. The Marine Mammal Center depends on significant pledge revenue from various workplace giving campaigns, including United Way and the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), as well as state, municipal and independent corporate campaigns nationwide.

Most campaigns are conducted in the fall, between Labor Day and Thanksgiving. Be sure to look for The Marine Mammal Center in your company's brochure. If the Center is not listed in your brochure, make sure your local United Way will honor "donor choice" before you sign up, and if there is any question about that, visit the United Way website or give to the Center directly.
