Be Double the Hero Today

Starving and too young to be separated from his mother, Ody was found alone. Just like many other patients at our hospital right now, this skinny pup was in no shape to make it on his own.

Today, your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar. That means you can give double the meals and meds to help a patient like Ody return home for the holidays.

I want to be double the hero. Match my gift!

Book a Tour to Meet Our Patients

This patient is a California sea lion, our most commonly rescued species, with animals of all ages stranding throughout the year with a variety of ailments.

Pups are born in June but stay with their moms for 10 months, so we typically see an influx of young animals in the spring. Other common reasons for stranding include domoic acid toxicosis, cancer, entanglement, malnutrition and leptospirosis
